Code 93's character set is the numbers 0-9, A-Z uppercase, the space
character, “a”, “b”, “c”, and “d” lowercase, and six other characters: - . / + $
% The four control codes are mapped to “a”, “b”, “c”, and “d”. These are often
referred to as “$”, “/”, “%”, and “+”.
The “<“ is used as the start bar and “>” for the stop bar. Code 93 bar codes
include two check digits, referred to as the C and K check digits. To create a
scannable Code 93 bar code symbol, format a string of the form: <1234CK> where C
and K are the two check digits. For example, “EJW3” would be <EJW3$5>
There are two ways to make a Code 93 bar code: either using our bundled utility
or from within your own application. The bundled utility is a wizard for those
making one or two symbols at a time. We suggest using our free sample code if
you will be calling our Code 93 font from within your own application.
System requirements: Win2000, WinNT, XP, XP Pro. Mac OS 9.x or OS X.
